We’re excited to share an update on the progress of our dream wedding venue, Grace Manor Events. As we come to the tail end of construction, we want to take you behind the scenes and show you the incredible journey we’ve been on to create the perfect space for your special day.
The Chapel and Reception Hall: A Grand Vision
One of the most breathtaking features of GME will be our chapel and reception hall, which boast impressive 26-foot-high ceilings. Recently, we’ve completed the installation of the steel framing, a significant milestone that brings our vision closer to reality. The towering ceilings will provide an airy, open feel, creating a majestic backdrop for your ceremonies and celebrations.
Finding the Perfect Interior Furniture
As the construction progresses, we’ve been diligently searching for the perfect interior furniture to complement our venue’s style. We believe that every piece of furniture should not only be functional but also add to the overall aesthetic of the space. Our goal is to create a warm, inviting atmosphere where you and your guests will feel right at home.
Preparing the Grounds: Parking Lot and Patio
Outside, we’ve been busy grading the area for our spacious parking lot, ensuring ample parking for your guests. Additionally, we’re preparing the patio to be laid with concrete. This outdoor space will be perfect for cocktail hours, photo opportunities, or simply enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
The Grand Entrance: Port a Cochere
We’re also constructing our port a cochere, which will serve as the grand entrance to GME. This elegant structure will not only provide a sheltered area for arrivals and departures but will also set the tone for the luxurious experience that awaits inside.
Making the Most of Our Space: Interior Adjustments
Inside the venue, we’ve been making some interior adjustments to the wood framing to maximize the use of our space. Our aim is to ensure that every corner of GME is designed with intention and purpose, providing flexibility and functionality for various wedding setups.
Next Steps: Windows, Drying In, and Finishing Touches
This week, we’ll be installing windows and drying in the building to protect the interior from the elements. Following this, we’ll begin the installation of sheetrock and the application of exterior stucco, giving GME its final shape and look.
